Umbilical cord starts to come off

This morning your umbilical cord started to come off and there was some green stuff behind it. There is a picture below. We thought you may have an infection, so we brought you in to see the doctor. The doctor said it's fine and he put some chemical on the green part and turned it gray. We think your umbilical cord will fall off totally in a few days. You weighed 7 pounds 9 ounces today so that means you have gained 6 ounces in 6 days.
